EvieMED is FDA cleared as a medical device for SpO2 and Heart Rate measurement.
Clinical trials are often cumbersome, expensive and suboptimal, requiring in-person checkups which can result in poor compliance. EvieMED’s unique offering and design aesthetic improve compliance, lower costs and enable quicker enrollment, better data, and improved quality of results.
Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) can reduce the need for in-office visits, expand access to healthcare, and reduce costs. The comfort and wearability of EvieMED also enables more consistent monitoring of vital signs and can assist with identifying potential health issues.
During clinical trials, EvieMED Ring arterial blood gas levels achieved a root mean square error (RMSE) average of 2.46%, well below the FDA guidance of 3.5% for SpO2. Additionally, the EvieMED Ring's accuracy exceeded that of the two commercially available, hospital-grade reference pulse oximeters in the study.
